Research projects

Psikharpax, the artificial rat
The Psikharpax project aims at synthesizing an artificial rat, whose morphology and control will be tightly inspired from those of the natural rat, so that it will exhibit autonomy and adaptation capacities going beyond those of present-day robots.

Robur, the artificial bird
The Robur project is focused on the design of a flapping-wing flying animat able to take-off, to land, to spare its energy, and to navigate towards autonomously selected objectives.

MACH, the artificial human
The MACH project is dedicated to studying and designing models of human motor learning. It aims at providing adaptive tools to control virtual humans and humanoid robots
